About Reservations
When purchasing a “Reservation,” you are purchasing a parking session which begins at a future time. This allows you to plan ahead for parking during the reserved time without needing to create a parking session upon arrival. A reservation does not guarantee that space will be available. If you arrive at the time of your reservation and no space is available, please contact us at 844.236.2011 or support@premiumparking.com, and we will make commercially reasonable efforts to re-accommodate you.
Payment and Credentialing
Your license plate number is the credential that makes your payment valid. The parking operator or a third-party enforcement vendor checks the license plates on the location. If you (1) park at this location without paying in advance, (2) enter the incorrect license plate number, (3) keep your vehicle parked past the end of your parking session, or (4) improperly park your vehicle in any way, you agree that the parking operator or a third-party enforcement vendor may ticket, immobilize, or tow your vehicle.
Preauthorization Holds
When you initiate a parking transaction, or when a stored payment method is charged, we or our payment processor may request a preauthorization hold on your credit or debit card. The hold may be for up to the maximum amount that could become due for the transaction: for example, if you start a start-stop parking session, the hold may be for the location’s maximum (24-hour) rate even if you park for less time, and if you select a discounted offer that is confirmed after purchase, the hold may be for the full undiscounted rate. A preauthorization hold is not a charge, but it may reduce your available credit or funds until it is captured or released. When the final transaction amount is known, we will capture the hold for that amount (which may be less than the amount of the hold) or release it. Your card issuer, not Premium Parking, determines how quickly a released hold stops appearing on your account, which may take several business days. We are not responsible for overdraft, over-limit, or similar fees your card issuer charges in connection with a preauthorization hold placed consistent with these terms.
Modifying, Extending, and Cancelling
For instructions on how to cancel or modify a reservation, click or tap here.
To extend your reservation in advance, simply make an additional reservation starting at the end time of the reservation you have already made. If you are already at the lot, simply purchase additional time through our mobile app, website, TextPay®, or CameraPay® channels.
To cancel a reservation, please log in to your online profile at premiumparking.com and select “Reservations.” Look for the reservation you wish to cancel, then select “Cancel”. You will be able to select from two options:
We will refund the full amount as a credit to your Premium Parking account. It will show up in your Premium Wallet and can be used to purchase parking across our locations.
OR
We can provide a partial refund to your original payment method with a processing fee based on time of cancellation, as follows:
- If the cancellation is five or more days before the reservation, you will be refunded the amount you paid less a 3% processing fee.
- If the cancellation is less than five days and more than 48 hours before the reservation start time, you will be refunded the amount you paid less a 10% processing fee.
- If the cancellation is less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before the reservation start time, you will be refunded the amount you paid less a 25% processing fee.
- No refunds will be granted within 24 hours of the start time of the reservation.
Reservations that are not used (“no-shows”) are nonrefundable after the reservation start time.
Refunds are typically visible on statements after 3–5 business days.
Multiple and Oversized Vehicles
If you know that you will need more than one parking space (for example, if you have a trailer or large vehicle that does not fit in a single space), purchase an additional (separate) reservation for each parking space you need, and please print both confirmation emails and place them on your dashboard. You must pay for each individual space you will be using.
If you reserve parking at a valet or attended location and arrive with a vehicle which in our sole and absolute discretion is an oversized vehicle, you may be subject to an additional oversized vehicle charge.
Transfers and Resale
Except as stated in this section, PARKING IS NOT TRANSFERABLE OR RESALABLE. You cannot transfer parking to other vehicles or other locations.
Reservations made at a limited number of eligible locations may be transferred to another person. Not all locations allow reservations to be transferred. If your reservation can be transferred, your reservation confirmation email will say so.
Transferring a Reservation
If you are at an eligible location and want to transfer a reservation, please log in to your online profile at premiumparking.com and select “Reservations.” Look for the reservation you wish to transfer, then select “Transfer,” and follow the instructions on screen.
The transfer will not be complete until and unless the person to whom you transfer the reservation accepts the transfer. If the recipient of the transfer declines or does not accept the transfer, you will remain responsible for the reservation and subject to these terms of purchase. Once the recipient accepts a transfer, the transfer is final, and the transferred reservation may not be cancelled or refunded.
Accepting a Transferred Reservation
If someone transfers a reservation to you and you accept the transfer, you agree to abide by these terms of purchase as if you had originally purchased the reservation. You are responsible for ensuring the correct license plate number is attached to your reservation.
Resale
Where transfers are enabled, you may transfer your reservation to another person, or sell it, provided the transfer is completed through the transfer feature described above. If you sell a reservation, you alone are responsible for the sale: Premium Parking is not a party to it, does not guarantee or collect payment for it, and does not provide refunds or any other remedy to purchasers of resold reservations. A resold reservation is not valid until the recipient accepts the transfer in their Premium Parking account, and the recipient takes it subject to these terms of purchase.
Except as stated above, parking may not be resold or transferred for compensation of any kind. Sessions, subscriptions, and reservations at locations where transfers are not enabled may not be resold or transferred, whether directly or through any third-party marketplace, website, application, or service, and any purported sale or transfer of them is void. Anyone who purchases parking from an unauthorized reseller, or who purchases a reservation that is never transferred to them through the transfer feature, acquires no parking rights, and we have no obligation to honor or refund that purchase. We may cancel without refund any parking product sold or transferred in violation of these terms, and we may enable or disable transfers at any location at any time. You may not use bots or other automated means to purchase parking, and you may not purchase parking in bulk for resale without a written agreement with Premium Parking.
